Naira Remains Stable After Buhari’s Return From UK Medical Trip


Naira exchange rate was table on both the official and black markets on Friday after President Muhammadu Buhari’s return from extended medical leave in Britain.
The naira was quoted at N305.8 on the official market while black market rate stood at N455..
There was liquidity boost in the Bureau de Change and parallel market segments as the Central Bank continued its intervention on the official market which aims at supporting the currency.
Naira also remained stable against the Pound Sterling and Euro as it traded at N545 and N470 to the pound sterling and Euro respectively.
