<div style="background-color: white; font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; font-size: 14px; margin-bottom: 20px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; font-size: 14px; margin-bottom: 20px;">
After the initial frenzy that inundated the housemates as a result of the unprecedented visit of the ace music producer, Don Jazzy and the DNA twins, housemates have literally evolved and morphed from their rather psychedelic excited mode to more musically creative personas.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; font-size: 14px; margin-bottom: 20px;">
Their potential hit song tentatively titled “see gobe” by the writer, which is clearly the brainchild of the incredibly talented housemates, is one that will stick closely to your subconscious whether you like it or not.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; font-size: 14px; margin-bottom: 20px;">
With the set up of the mini studio in the house, housemates now have the enviable privilege and opportunity to be produced (on the spot) by the Mavin’s boss himself.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; font-size: 14px; margin-bottom: 20px;">
You can’t but enjoy the porpourri and harmonious blend of voices from the housemates.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; font-size: 14px; margin-bottom: 20px;">
Regardless of your cultural, moral, or religious reservations, one fact remains that the Nigerian youths are incredibly talented – this is evident in the constellation of talents that the house has produced since the inception of the greatly debated show hosted on a foreign soil – South Africa.</div>

Beleaguered Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has decided to stay at the club, according to British media reports on Monday.</div>

The Daily Telegraph and Daily Mirror said Wenger will inform Arsenal’s board he wants to extend his contract, which expires at the end of the season.</div>

<span style="background-color: #f7f7f7;">Weng</span><span style="background-color: black;">er, 67, has come under fire from fans after Arsenal were thrashed by Bayern Munich in the Champions League and slipped out of the Premier League’s top four.</span></div>

<span style="background-color: black;">Supporters renewed calls for him to step down during and after Saturday’s 3-1 loss at West Bromwich Albion, with some holding up “WENGER OUT” banners.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif; font-size: 12pt;">Travelling is generally fun. But having to travel
long distances by road can be a nightmare! </span></div>

7 ways to make travelling by road more comfortable for you.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<b><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Get
a good night sleep<o:p></o:p></span></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Most times, because we pack at the eleventh hour, we
end up getting very little sleep the day before we are to travel. Avoid this. Have
a good night’s sleep before the travel day; unwind, relax and prepare your body
for the trip. It’s much easier to cope with the stress of road travel this way.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<b><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Wear
a comfortable outfit<o:p></o:p></span></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">This is very important especially for the ladies.
For long drives, relegate fashion to the background for a bit and let comfort
take center stage. There really is no need to dress to impress since you are
going to be in a car or bus for the better part of the day. Loose fitting pants
and shirts are ideal for road travel.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<b><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Pack
healthy snacks and eat light<o:p></o:p></span></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">If you decide to pack snack along with you on the
trip, be sure it’s healthy, not the type that’s likely to purge or upset your
stomach. Also, eat light. You don’t want to be that person in the vehicle with
the constant need to ease himself/herself, and some of the time you are going
to have to do so out by or in the bush because the nearest toilet might be a
mile away.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<b><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Be
mindful of your posture<o:p></o:p></span></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">You should keep your body moving during the trip,
especially if you are a passenger. Periodically switch sitting positions, pump
your ankles and move your arms to prevent aches and pains. You should also
avoid slouching and can consider taking along with you a travel pillow or a
small pillow to support your back. If you are the one driving, you can also
consider using cruise control (if your vehicle has one) when you can, so you
can rest your feet for a bit. Be sure to set the cruise control at a safe
speed.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<b><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Use
relaxation techniques<o:p></o:p></span></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Playing soft music during the trip or using relaxation
techniques like deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation etc. can help
reduce your stress levels during a long ride. You can also take full advantage
of the few stops during the trip to stretch and walk around. In addition, you
can take a book along with you to read and take a biro and notebook to scribble
thoughts on and maybe write journal entries or even new music (if you are a
writer or songwriter).<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<b><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Bring
along disposable pre-moistened body wipes<o:p></o:p></span></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Riding along in a car for hours can make your body
feel sticky so you can bring along disposable pre-moistened body wipes to
freshen up a bit during the ride and keep comfortable. You can wipe your body
down in the privacy of the restroom at a rest stop or simply wipe yourself
discreetly in the vehicle. Favor alcohol-free disposable wipes when buying
these – they are kinder to your skin.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<b><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Stop
occasionally<o:p></o:p></span></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Especially if you are the one driving, you should
build some stops into your timeline when planning road trips, especially if you
have children with you. Stop for some minutes to stretch, use the restroom and
walk around to relax your body and help improve your blood flow.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The NNPC Chief

Affairs Division.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Ikem-Obih said that the
130 million litres would be recovered from facilities of two indigenous
operators, MRS Limited and Capital Oil & Gas Limited.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">He said that over 100
million litres of petrol stored at the Capital Oil & Gas depot and over 30
million litres in MRS Limited depot, all in Apapa area of Lagos, were not found
when needed.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">

<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">“The visit revealed
that there was no molecule of product for the NNPC to evacuate,’’ he said.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Ikem-Obih said the
infraction by the two downstream companies was a clear violation of existing
contract, which prohibited the firms from tampering with the volumes in their
custody without express permission of the corporation<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">He said, “armed with

<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">“After the meeting with

<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">He said that NNPC
alerted the Directorate of State Service (DSS), the Economic Financial Crime
Commission (EFCC) and relevant committees of National Assembly with oversight
function on the corporation’s downstream operation to help recover the assets.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Ikem-Obih said that
this was contrary to the insinuation that NNPC kept mute over the infraction
until the Senate uncovered it.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">“So far, MRS has fully
complied by returning the 30 million litres of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol)
that it expropriated.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">“But, we have not
achieved much progress with Capital Oil & Gas which has yet to return 82
million litres of petrol valued at N11 billion, out of over 100 million litres
which it took,’’ he disclosed.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">He stated that NNPC had
set up two committees to evaluate the roles played by some of its staff in the
illegal evacuation of the products.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">He added that one of
the committees was mandated to review the corporation’s entire throughput
policy in order to align it with global best practices.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">According to the COO,

<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif; font-size: 12pt;">Dr Omale Charles, Managing Director, Fortress Eye
Hospital and Medical Centre, Abuja, has advised those who spend long periods of
time on their mobile devices at night to always leave room lights on.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Charles gave this advice in an interview with the
News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Abuja.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">He said this would go a
long way to reduce the level of light directed to the eyes which could lead to
damage to one’s vision.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The expert was speaking
on the sidelines of this year’s World Glaucoma Week (WGW) commemorated from
March 12 to March 18, with the theme: “Beat Invisible Glaucoma”.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Charles said those who
spent long periods of time on these devices and also computers should ensure
they took breaks away from the devices and gadgets in order to protect the eyes
from damage caused by excessive exposure to light.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">“Working long hours on
the computer can affect the eyes and vision. This can trigger a negative
reaction to the eyes and cause headache, loss of concentration and ultimately
predisposes one to develop Computer Visual Syndrome.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">“If this continues on a
long term basis, it can lead to permanent damage to the eyes.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">“Therefore, one should
make efforts to wear protective eye glasses or use a computer screen so that
the level of direct light to the eyes is reduced.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">“When you work on the

continuous exposure of the light to your eyes which can result in damage to the
element of vision.”<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">He also cautioned the
public, especially those predisposed to or at risk of developing eye diseases
against excessive consumption of alcohol.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Charles said consuming
alcohol in excess quantity could affect the nerves of the eyes increasing the
chances of damage to one’s vision.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The expert, who
described alcohol as a depressant, said the substance once consumed overtime
gave a feeling of euphoria and subsequently affected one’s thinking and
coordination.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Charles said alcohol
could only give such feeling to an individual because it worked through the
nerves, adding that any substance that worked using the nerves could affect
vision.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">“For someone who
already has a biological predisposition to glaucoma, taking alcohol or any
other substance that can affect your nerves, thereby accelerating damage to the
nerve of vision.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">“Another thing to
consider is the quantity of alcohol consumed by an individual and the level of
concentration of this alcohol.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">“Drug and substance
abuse also has negative effects on the eyes; activities such as direct gaze at
the sun can expose one to ultra-violent radiation.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">“When moving outdoors,
you should wear protective eye shade or a face cap to protect your eyes from
this radiation because it can cause external growth within the eyes and can
serve as a trigger for vision impairment.”<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">He listed other
activities that could directly affect the eyes to include welding, adding that
the iron particles caused direct trauma to the eyes.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

Olasunkanmi said the accused unlawfully took possession of one Amodu Success,

prostitution and sexual labour.<br style="box-sizing: border-box;" />
He said the victim was sent on errand by her parent, but a motorcyclist came

He added that the man took her to the house of one of the accused, Ogunsakin
Mary, where she spent two days before taking her to Are-Ekiti.<br style="box-sizing: border-box;" />
“It was in Are-Ekiti that the first accused and others at large used her for
prostitution and sex labour.’’<br style="box-sizing: border-box;" />

<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif; font-size: 12pt;">A trade unionist, Mr Benson Adegbeyeni, has urged
the Federal Government to come up with ingenuous strategies to diversify the
nation`s economic base.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Adegbeyeni, the
President of Senior Staff Association of Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA), gave
the advice in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on
Friday.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">He said diversification
of the economic base was imperative to build buffers against the pitfalls of a
mono-product economy.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The unionist said the
country`s over-dependence on crude oil had hampered the economy and there was
the need to open more revenue channels through sustained development of other
sectors.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">“We have for long run a
mono-product economy, neglecting other sectors and depending on the revenue
from crude-oil exports to fund our budgets by almost 100 per cent.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">“Now that the price of
oil has tumbled in the international market, everybody is talking about
recession and people complain of unpaid salaries and other problems.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">“But I think we can
avoid this by taking deliberate steps to diversify the economy and open up
other sectors with great export potential,” he said.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Adegbeyeni advised
government to particularly pay attention to the agriculture and mining sectors,
saying the sectors were once the mainstay of the economy.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The unionist also said
that the entertainment and the maritime sectors could substantially grow the
GDP if well developed<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">He said the poor state
of access roads to ports in Lagos was an obstacle to the development of the
maritime sector and urged the government to fix them.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="box-sizing: border-box;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">He commended the
current administration for the hard stance on corruption, saying if the effort
was sustained it would deter the mindless looting of the treasury.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
